How Counselling improved my Anxiety
Counseling has been a transformative experience for me in my personal battle with anxiety. My anxiety felt like a heavy burden, but through counseling, I gained invaluable knowledge and insights. My therapist created a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, enabling me to openly explore my worries and triggers.
Counseling taught me coping strategies, helping me recognize and challenge negative thought patterns. It also allowed me to understand the underlying causes of my anxiety, which I could address effectively. The counsellor offered me mindfulness and self awareness strategies along with breathing exercises to help stave off Panic attacks. These also helped me understand my body reactions to certain triggers which allowed me time to step away and reset before an episode took hold.
Over time, counseling provided me with a strong sense of control and an outlook towards a more balanced and anxiety-free life. I cannot stress enough how it has improved my mental health.
